IS IT FICTION?
Greece is chosen to be the first European economy experiment and the first Western EU economy war victim of the new World Order.A country cannot go bankrupt like a business could, so then its possessions can be confiscated. There is a need to willingly give away its property by the people via its elected representative, the Greek Parliament, in this case. The Doc covers the events that took place around Sintagma Square (Constitution Square) in Athens (Greece) on 28-29 June 2011, during the Austerity Measures Vote by the Greek Parliament. The memorandum, voted by the majority of the Parliament, covers the contract by which Greece loses her sovereignty in case she defaults on her debt, legalizing all lenders' claims. The Doc goes through the events of the extensive protests by the people opposing the Greek sellout. It documents the spirit of the people while at the same time unfolds the solidarity and courage of the protestors along with the police brutality with its extensive use of force and chemicals, in a raw (still in vogue) style, with minimal commentary.Shot with a hand held Camera – along with takes from other protestors in order to accurately record by the hour the action taken by the Police, Government, Parastate and Protestors. It records main stream ordinary people from all classes as they reflect their frustration for the sellout in which corrupt politicians along with their allies and lenders are forcing them, in what is propably the most significant Vote in post Junta political Greek system.
